Chartered Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Consultant

Welcome
I’m Dr Chris Cleave, a chartered psychologist and existential psychotherapist. I support individuals and I help organisations build creativity, resilience and psychological safety. My focus is simple: creating spaces where people feel human, find meaning, and move forward with courage.

For individual clients
I offer a warm, straightforward, and inclusive therapy where adults can explore their struggles and discover new ways forward. People come to me with mental health concerns such as anxiety, trauma, dissociation, depression, or panic. Others seek support with life challenges, including anger, bereavement, addiction, feeling stuck, isolation, and fears of many kinds.

Whatever the starting point, our work is about more than reducing symptoms: it’s about helping you feel more grounded, more connected, and more capable of living the life you want.

For organisations
Beyond the therapy room, I consult with organisations who want to use psychology to improve outcomes. I design and deliver training programmes, and help teams respond to the challenges of stress, change, and burnout.

Writing and teaching
I teach psychotherapy and write widely about trauma and recovery — in both fiction and non-fiction. My work explores how people can rebuild meaningful lives, both individually and collectively.
